Center for Creative Education (CCE) Location Shoot

Role// Video: Camera 2, boom, director, editor.

Photography: Photographer, photo retouching.

Located in West Palm Beach, the Center for Creative Education serves students, teachers, and families by transforming educational environments through creativity and the arts. CCE was a recent recipient of the First Republic Foundation. We wanted to spotlight them and include them in some of our marketing materials to promote the Foundation. Myself along with two members of my team flew out to Florida for a one day photo and video shoot.

Photography

The immediate need for photography was to use the photos in our upcoming 2022 annual report as a featured photo spread highlighting our commitment to the community. The shoot itself was challenging as I only had 15 minutes to shadow a classroom of students working on their art project. None of it was staged so I had to move quick to capture what I could.

Video

The video was shot and edited in-house by myself and colleague Adam Hicks who worked with me to set up camera, sound lighting etc. and operate one camera while I operated the other and recorded audio. A third colleague conducted the interview.

We never got a chance to finish editing the video (as First Republic was bought out shortly after) but the clip you see here is a short video I created the day after the shoot to test the footage and try new LUTs I was experimenting with.
