I graduated college with a degree in Marketing and had a career both in that field and as an entrepreneur running my own business. After selling my business, I got back into Marketing but then re-discovered my love for design and video. I learned and embraced all facets of creative work which you can view throughout this site. Now, as a leader of creative teams, I help mentor and support them to create amazing work that delivers results to all of our stakeholders and business partners.

Even though my past couple of roles have been in a leadership position, I still enjoy being hands-on and designing or editing when needed or the opportunity arises. I’m a firm believer that a good manager should be able to hop in and work in the trenches alongside their team. You have to walk the walk.

I have several pursuits outside of work that I enjoy. I’m a huge fan of music. (I used to DJ and owned a little record shop in a past life.) The COVID lockdown got me back into painting. If you live in the East Bay, you may see me running on the Bay Trail or in Tilden park training for my next ultra. Or perhaps you’ll catch me at the Albany Bulb with our three rescues, Charlie, Rikki and Bean. Speaking of animals, I recently got the opportunity to combine my two loves, animals and running by becoming a board member of the Bay Area based non-profit, The Animal Run. I also still do occasional pro bono creative support for local non-profits. Please feel free to reach out if you think I may be of service. I’d love to help!

Please be entertained (I hope) and enjoy a random assortment of photos.

One of the cool things about running a record store is meeting amazing customers like Questlove!

I’m a huge movie buff with horror and sci-fi being two of my favorite genres. For Halloween, I made this chestburster alien out of a plastic water bottle.

Meeting my all time favorite musician, Moby! Believe it or not, this was the 3rd time I met him in person.

Our three furry kids: Bean, Rikki and Charlie.

Mile 52.3 at the SF Marathon. I look like death here but it was for a good cause as I was able to raise $12,000 for the Animal Legal Defense Fund.

One of my first location video shoots on the top of a 5 story college library rooftop in Durango Colorado…and not dressing for the 35 degree weather.

Tofurkey mascot I drew for an annual tofurkey trot 5K.

Trying to look cool in front of my record shop with the OG crew.

Some random abstract paintings I did during COVID lockdown

Random trivia: In high school I became the U.S. National 2WD off road RC car racing champion.

I’ve got this weird thing about me where when I go to the movies, I insist on getting the best seat in the house so that often means getting there before anyone else does. My wife likes to document our outings to the movies as evidence of how we always show up a tad too early. What can I say. I’m a movie nerd.
